When Hurricane Ian hit the Southeast, power company crews from around the country headed to devastated areas to restore power. (God bless them!) We simply can't function here for an extended time without electricity.

Although Ugandans aren't generally as reliant on electric power as we are, electricity is needed to run computers, lighting... and pumps for wells. A second well has been dug at the school to help provide water for students, teachers, and staff - - in total, over 900 people. So, a generator – in the event of a power outage -- is a necessity. It's VERY high on our list of future capital improvements.
